Party Information

Halloween Party: A sign-up sheet will be posted on the entrance door to the dance studio. This sign up-sheet is for the treats for our party. We ask that what you bring will be able to be enjoyed by all our famous dancers. Examples of treats will be on the sign-up sheet. Additional information will be sent out prior.

Christmas Party: Our Christmas party’s treats will be provided by the studio. However we ask that all our dancers bring a small age-appropriate gift for our gift exchange. We request the gift is addressed “From a Dancing Friend”. Your gift should cost no more than $15. Additional information will be sent out prior.

TBD Dates (Vary from year to year)

Mandatory Extra Practices: All dancers will be required to attend at least 1-2 extra practices closer to recital date. These are used to showcase their dances to the other classes to practice audience etiquette and performance ready skills. Additional information will be sent out prior.

Dress Rehearsal/Recital: Along with our extra practice we will have our Dress Rehearsal the morning of our Recital. This is mandatory as well and it is when we practice what recital will be like. Everyone wears their costumes to practice quick changes and how to properly wear them. We typically run through each dance 1-2 times clearing any fuzzy details. Later that night is our Recital. Free for all and is when our famous dancers are able to showcase what they have been learning all year. All ages 3-18 will be performing and after will be time for pictures and congratulations. Additional information will be sent out prior.

Picture Day: Picture day is when all our famous dancers get together for group and individual pictures of them in their costumes. All dancers are asked to arrive in costume along with hair and makeup done. Additional information will be sent out prior.

Shoe Day: Before every dance year we have shoe day to ensure every dancer new or experienced as access to new, appropriate, foot and dancewear. Additional information will be sent out prior.

Mandatory Hurricane Make Up Days: During our hurricane season in order to insure we are staying on track for recital, we ask that in the event of weather forcing us to miss a week of dance we will have practice the week of Thanksgiving Break (see calendar). This will be mandatory. Additional information will be sent out prior.
